Experience the Washington Ballet’s unique, critically-acclaimed presentation of “The Nutcracker” at the Warner Theater, November 29 through December 23. Septime Webre’s brilliant, historical interpretation of this holiday classic features George Washington as the daring Nutcracker, amid vibrant scenery and a soaring musical score. Witness the National Tree Lighting Ceremony from the comfort of your own home on December 6, through live, online streaming, beginning at 4:30 p.m.! Special performances will be featured by James Taylor, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Colbie Caillat, and American Idol winner Phillip Phillips. After the live streaming, the entire program will be available on-demand online, and will be broadcast by public television stations starting December 7.

View stunning holiday light displays and nightly tree lighting ceremonies at the Gaylord National Resort. Enjoy “Christmas on the Potomac” with indoor snowfalls, dancing fountains, and two million holiday lights. It’s worth the trip to browse the decor throughout the resort!
