How about trying all of the above, during the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Restaurant Week? And if you don’t get your fill, you can indulge in culinary explorations during the Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week! Here are the details and just a few examples!

Bethesda-Chevy Chase Restaurant Week, January 24 – February 3

This is your chance to experience some of the best Chevy Chase and Bethesda restaurants with special 2-course offerings for lunch and 3-course offerings for dinner. Lunch entrees are priced from $12 to $16 , and dinners are priced from $22 to $33.

Reservations should be made directly with participating restaurants or through the promotional page at opentable.com.  Depending on your palate, you might lean towards the tried and true, or decide to experiment with an exotic, gourmet dish! For example:

La Ferme Restaurant in Chevy Chase won the 2012 Open Table “Diner’s Choice” award. Classic French cuisine and spectacular desserts are served in a charming, casual atmosphere.

Passage to India in Bethesda is rated among the top 25 restaurants in Metro DC by the Washingtonian. Famous for homemade spices and authentic Indian recipies handed down through generations, Passage to India is an immersion in flavor.

Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week, Februrary 3 – 10

Not to be outdone, the Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week has over 200 participating restaurants to choose from! You won’t be able to try them all in a week, so make your selections and reservations in advance! 2-course lunches are $20.13, and 3-course dinners are $35.13.

The 1789 Restaurant is often voted a diner’s favorite and stands among the best-known restaurants in the DC area. The menu changes with the season and features locally-sourced food. Dry-aged steaks, gourmet seafood and sumptuous platters feature classic American cuisine with European influence.

Oya is an intimate, eclectic DC restaurant offering sushi, sea bass, short ribs, grilled tenderloin and Kobe burgers, just to give you an idea! Both wine and saki are among the beverage choices.

There are too many wonderful restaurant choices to list! The array of dining options available in Chevy Chase and the greater DC Metro area could keep you busy for years. It’s one of the great examples of our quality of life in Chevy Chase!
