I have a listing on Davidson Drive that we listed for a price of $3,300,000, after careful research and thought. It is on an acre of land and so there is a possibility of subdivision, but that was not a surety.

The appraiser  thought it could be carved up into four lots if the house was torn down. Both the owner and I were hoping that would not be the case since this is one of the oldest homes in Chevy Chase. Not only is there an abundance of grand architectural detailing, it is embellished by a tremendous amount of history and lore.

Best of all, the buyer seems to be a perfect fit for this wonderful home! They want to live in the property, and possibly subdivide it to allow another home to be built on the land.
