Shred, Dump, and Adopt

Looking to shred your sensitive papers? Want to make some room in your house? How about saying hello to some cuddly, adoptable dogs? Join The Estridge Group at the annual Chevy Chase “Dump, Donate, & Shred Day” this weekend!

Come out between 9 AM and 11 AM on Saturday, June 6th, to safely dispose of your documents, household trash, and other items you no longer use as well as participate in the exclusive adopt-a-pet event.

Adopt a Rescue Dog

New to the event this year is our partnership with the Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation, a local organization that saves pets from over-crowded shelters and at-risk situations to place them into loving homes. The LDCRF will be stopping by the Dump, Donate, & Shred Day event with lovable dogs who are looking to find homes with you or your Chevy Chase neighbors.

Making Cleanup Easier

Bring documents to shred, garbage to dispose, and household items to donate to 3200 Woodbine Street, at the corner of Beach and Woodbine. We’ll have a shredding truck, a dumpster, and a charity collection on site.

If you’re going to be dumping household items, please make sure to leave your wet paint cans, tires, appliances, and food waste at home.

If you’re planning to donate to charity, Central Union Mission will be issuing receipts for items that are accepted.
