Five Real Estate Podcasts That Will Inspire You

Real Estate is an industry where you never want to stop learning. Not only about the practical things — mortgage rates, brokers, lead generation, market knowledge, etc. — but about how to sell and work with people. Recently, Melinda Estridge was featured on The Real Estate Titans Live podcast, where she joined the ranks of other top producers who are interviewed every week by Greg Fowler. When Fowler asked if she could choose one thing that took her career to the next level her answer was this:

“You’re never going to be able to easily go to the next level unless you’re learning from somebody who’s doing more than you are…they can help you identify your weaknesses and strengthen those up.”

In a word, mentors. Sometimes mentors come in the form of friendships or work relationships. But when that’s not available, podcasts can serve as a great resource to learn from other very successful people in the industry. Here are five podcasts that we think will inspire you to be a better real estate agent.

#1 – Real Estate Titans

Real Estate Titans is a live streaming show that interviews the top real estate professionals in the country — from realtors and lenders, to builders and developers — residential and commercial. The host is Greg Fowler, founder of Lion Bolt Media, a leading-edge digital marketing company that focuses specifically on real estate. Guests have included Ryan Serhant of Bravo TV’S Million Dollar Listing New York, Andrew Clinkscale of VH1’s Love and Listings, and of course, our own Melinda Estridge. What we love about Real Estate Titans is that Greg goes beyond the tactical questions and asks the things that reveal how these “titans” not only succeed at real estate, but in life. We’re of course partial to Melinda’s interview (Episode 190). In it, she discusses everything from entering the industry at a tough time, to power players, to mentorship.

#2 — Real Estate Rockstars

Learn from up-and-coming agents, seasoned brokers, real estate investors, and more all over the country. Notable guests include Robert Kiyosaki, Barbara Corcoran, and Ryan Serhant. The host is Pat Hiban, author of New York Times’ best-selling book, 6 steps to 7 figures, A Real Estate Professional’s Guide Building Wealth and Creating your Destiny and a 25-year veteran in the industry. In it, you’ll learn how to bring in new clients, transition from real estate agent to investor, overcome adversity, and more. A good first episode to check out is “The Best Real Estate Podcast Clips.”

#3 — Kevin Ward’s Yes Talk For Real Estate Agents

Internationally recognized speaker and real estate trainer, Kevin Ward, started this podcast with a goal to help shift mindsets in the industry. He delivers training on skills, strategies, and scripts. His podcasts are typically short — 20 minutes or less — focusing on specific strategies or topics. Things like “The Perfect Video Setup for Realtors on a Budget” and more recently, “How to Communicate in a Face-Mask-Wearing, Social-Distancing World.”

#4 — Real Estate Coaching Radio

Real estate coaches Tim and Julie Harris have created a podcast that has been recognized by The Motley Fool, Inman News, and Google as one of the most influential podcasts in real estate. These guys are like Mr. and Mrs. Realtor. In fact, The National Association of Realtors has named them as Howard Brinton Stars. They have authored four books, Think and Grow Rich for Real Estate, The Real Estate Treasure Map, Part Time Agent to Full-Time Superstar, and HARRIS RULES, Your No-BS Practical Step by Step Guide to Finally Becoming Free. They bring their wisdom, and others’ wisdom, to their podcast “Real Estate Coaching Radio.” Check out “How to Sell Luxury in an Economic Crash” and “How to Sell The Unsellable Listing.”

#5 — Real Estate Today Radio

When The National Association of Realtors creates a podcast, you know it’s going to have the information you need to know.
