It’s that time to start wearing green again! Though St. Patrick’s Day doesn’t start until Saturday, some festivities have already been under way.  Find out what Irish events are taking place in and around Chevy Chase this weekend!

What’s Been Happening In Chevy Chase?

Chevy Chase At Home held a St. Patrick’s Day Meet and Mingle on March 6 at the Chevy Chase Village Hall.  Entertainment included live singing and a bagpipe performance.

Chevy Chase at Home is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping senior citizens. Events are scheduled throughout the year.  If you are interested in becoming a member or volunteering, check out their website. Their next meet and mingle takes place on March 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Chevy Chase Village Hall.

St. Patrick’s Day Feast

The Chevy Chase Country Club will be serving an Irish themed dinner for members from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Entertainment will include live music and Irish dancing.  Be sure to visit their website for more details.

Bethesda-Chevy Chase St. Patrick’s Day Pub Events

BlackFinn American Saloon in Bethesda is the perfect place for all-day St. Patrick’s Day entertainment. The Kegs and Eggs event begins at 10 a.m. Irish prizes will be handed out throughout the day and special drinks including green beer will be on tap. Get all the details here.

Union Jack’s in Bethesda is offering a completely free St. Patrick’s Day breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Eggs, pancakes, French toast, scones and more will be served. Drink specials will be held throughout the day.  Check out their website for more information.

Flanagan’s Harp and Fiddle in Bethesda will be holding a live music event throughout the day.

The Tasting Room Wine Bar at Wisconsin Place in Chevy Chase will have live music from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
