Wade Heintzelman, owner of Golf Care Center in downtown Bethesda. Wade is a nationally renowned club fitter. He and partner Jack Goldsby measure a client, use sensors to record data like the client’s swing speed, launch angle, and ball spin, then prescribe specifications for new clubs tailored to the client’s game. The client can then order the clubs made by Wade and Jack or give the specifications to the pro at his or her home club. It’s like buying a bespoke suit instead of something off the rack.
