Chevy Chase Pavilion Offers Exciting New Dining & Shopping Experiences!

After $32 million in renovations, the Chevy Chase Pavilion is drawing new retail and restaurant tenants, and creating buzz throughout the DC Metro area.  From the lively, glowing colors of the atrium to the sleek designs of the storefronts, the Pavilion features a trendy, urban atmosphere.  Two of the new tenants appear to be a perfect match!

RANGE Restaurant by Celebrity Chef Bryan Voltaggio

“Top Chef” alumni Bryan Voltaggio has assembled a formidable culinary team for the operation of this eclectic, meat-centric Chevy Chase restaurant. From D.C. pizza guru Edan MacQuaid to beverage director Owen Thomson, the wide and varied menu has experts at the helm of each specialty.

RANGE makes no apologies for having meat on the menu, nor does it adhere to a simple “steak and potato” mindset. You’ll find rabbit, scrapple, poultry, pork loin, and gourmet cuts of beef, much of it locally sourced. The open-kitchen and station concept will allow diners to have an impressive visual experience with their meal.

Fresh seafood, including a “raw bar” will be featured, as well as pastas, pizzas, and vegan-friendly dishes. Custom-designed, homemade pastries and chocolates will be an irresistible conclusion to your dining experience.

The restaurant seats 300, and has a 30-seat bar and a 55-seat appetizer station. With 7 to 9 micro-kitchens in operation during dining hours, and 500 wine and beverage options on the menu, RANGE is a culinary world of it’s own!

H&M Brings “Fast Fashion” to Chevy Chase

The Swedish clothing retailer H&M will be joining the Chevy Chase Pavilion in early 2013. H&M’s “off the catwalk” clothing designs are frequently updated and offer the newest fashions for women, men and children. H&M’s “fast fashion” business model enables customers to enjoy the latest designer trends at a wallet-friendly price.

H&M is the second-largest clothing retailer in the world, with 2,629 stores in operation as of August 2012.  They employ 94,000 people around the globe and have 800 factories located throughout Europe and Asia.

Chevy Chase Development May Boost Home Demand

New commercial and residential development projects for Chevy Chase are in the planning stages. The ambitious renovation of the Chevy Chase Pavilion was well-timed to ensure it would remain competitive in the years to come. The demand for homes in Chevy Chase, Bethesda, and the surrounding D.C. area is expected to escalate as more amenities, services and attractions take root in the area.  The access to public transportation is another positive factor for future home values.
