Obama’s Daughter Visits Friendship Heights

It seems Chevy Chase just received an unexpected visit from the White House family last week.

On September 21, the son and daughter-in-law of Vice President Joe Biden stopped by Friendship Heights for dinner, along with their two daughters, Sasha Obama and a friend of the girls.

Where Did the They Go?

The group chose to eat at Rosa Mexicano on Wisconsin Avenue. According to the general manager, the kids all ordered chicken quesadillas and enjoyed a dessert of raspberry sorbet with Mexican spiced chocolate and cinnamon sugar sopapillas. The girls were planning to go back with Sasha Obama for a sleepover.

•    The First Lady and First Dog, Bo, stopped by the Walter Reed Military Medical Center in Bethesda on Easter to hand out cards and cookies to families and children.
•    In March, the President made his first visit of the year to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. While at the hospital, he spoke with injured servicemen and servicewomen.
•    Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia were seen early August, stopping at Yogiberry, Redwood and All Fired Up in downtown Bethesda. Even the President stopped by Good Stuff Eatery with his staff for lunch later that afternoon.
•    Michelle Obama recently wore a sleeveless rose-colored dress at the Democratic National Convention from Proper Topper, a Georgetown boutique just fifteen minutes away from Friendship Heights.
