Sample a Bit of Everything at the Taste of Friendship Heights

Having worked as a real estate agent in the Chevy Chase area for many years, I am consistently in-the-loop about upcoming community events. This is especially helpful to my clients who have recently relocated to the area. The sooner newcomers get out and start seeing what their new neighborhood has to offer, the sooner that they will start to get to know their new neighbors! The Taste of Friendship Heights, happening next Saturday, is the ideal opportunity for the entire Chevy Chase area to come together for fun, family and, most importantly, food.

One of Chevy Chase’s best features as a community is the vast array of excellent restaurants for your dining pleasure. At the Taste of Friendship Heights, you have an excuse to sample them all. Local restaurants participating in the event include: The Capital Grille, Courtyard by Marriott, Frosting (a Cupcakery), Indique Heights, Lia’s, Maggiano’s, P.F. Chang’s, Potomac Pizza, Rosa Mexicano, Sunrise Brighton Gardens, Tynan Coffee & Tea and Whole Foods Market. The festival, now in its sixth year, raises funds for both the community and the Community Council for the Homeless at Friendship Place, which means that you can eat as much as you want and know that part of the money is going to a worthwhile cause.

You can enjoy more than just food at this family-friendly event! Other attractions include a moon bounce, face painting, balloons, basketball games and a restaurant raffle drawing. A fantastic performance from the Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School Jazz band is also on the agenda. One thing that you will not experience at this fun-filled community event is boredom.

If you’re interested in attending, (and who wouldn’t be?), here is where you need to be between 12:00-5:00pm on Saturday, September 29th:

4433 South Park Avenue
Chevy Chase, MD 20815

Next Saturday, come out and celebrate community and cuisine at this fantastic annual event! Not only is it an opportunity to satiate your appetite, but it’s also the ideal time for newcomers to the Chevy Chase, MD area to explore their new community and meet their new neighbors. There isn’t any way that’s quite as fun as this one!

As a Chevy Chase real estate agent, I think it’s incredibly important to remain involved in the goings-on of my community because it helps me help my clients get acclimated to their new home. The more valuable information I can give to them about the city that they’re moving to, the easier that their transition will be into the Chevy Chase lifestyle.

If you have any questions about buying or selling a home in the Chevy Chase real estate market, don’t hesitate to contact me and ask! I’d be happy to put my many years of experience in the community to work for you! I hope to hear from you soon.
